Hi John, I've been trying to reach someone at that email, but no one responded as of yet that is why I posted here. Any update would be greatly appreciated. I am going to shoot another email right now, hopefully someone will get back to me.

Hey Martin Durrant - it looks like there's already a Grow site with ‘Spirit Animals’ as the title. Could I have you try updating your Grow Site Name (found under Grow Settings > General) to Spirit Animals.info, and try onboarding once more?

I have fixed it, to fix that issue go to Settings > General and change name of website to domain for example

“biology insights” Remove it and use “biologyinsights.com” on the name

    it should write like that

    Busniess Name:  biologyinsights.com

    Domain name: biologyinsights.com

Yes they suggested that above, I have also documented here https://medium.com/@trig79/mediavine-journey-a-site-with-the-name-already-exists-error-64820ae95493 in case people are searching for an answer.

The issue is simple, the name validation needs to be done earlier, little point in allowing people to name a project, only to find out on application that you can't have it.

anyway easily resolved when you know how and and mediavine support were quick to answer, which is awesome.

    Hi everyone!

I am having this same issues for a site that I just bought that used to have Journey before. It just got approved for Journey and I am trying to do this step:

    Let’s Get Your Business Info

and this comes up every time, tried logging out and in again and it always stops at this step:

“A site with the name All Birds Species already exists”

I have tried changing the name but same issue happens:

“A site with the name Allbirdspecies website already exists”

“A site with the name Allbirdspecies.com website already exists”

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
