The redesigned Journey by Mediavine dashboard provides a streamlined interface for managing your sites, monitoring analytics and payments, and adjusting ad settings. This guide walks you through the main sections of the new dashboard so you can quickly locate key information.
Accessing your sites
When you log in, you arrive at the Home page. In the top left corner, there is a Site Name drop‑down that lets you switch between all your Journey‑managed sites.
Selecting a specific site updates the dashboard to show analytics, payments, and settings for that site.
Home and Tasks
On the Home page, you’ll see a welcome banner, a link to the product tour, and a summary of items that may need your attention. These items could include tasks that need to be completed, announcements from Mediavine, and a link to the relevant help center and community space.
The Tasks link in the sidebar opens a task list that highlights urgent tasks. If there are no outstanding tasks, the dashboard displays a “Clear as Day” message to let you know everything is up to date.
Analytics
Select Analytics under Controls to view performance metrics for the selected site.
At the top of this page, you can choose a date range (default is Last 30 Days) and pick a metric (such as revenue or sessions). The dashboard shows a series of charts, including:
- Pageviews
- Sessions
- RPM
- CPM
- Impressions
- Revenue
- Top Pages
- Ad Units
- Traffic Source Report
- Devices (by revenue)
- Top Countries
- + more depending on your Program Level
Payments
The Payments tab provides detailed information about your earnings and payout schedule.
Features include:
- A summary card for the current month with payout date and totals for credits, ad‑block recovery, and deductions
- A Payment Calendar showing paydays; the calendar highlights the next payout
- A Last 3 Months section listing payout dates for recent months
- Download Gross Revenue Report tool to export revenue data for a custom date range.
Settings
Click Settings to adjust ad configuration and general site details. The settings page is divided into two categories:
Ad management
- Ad Setup – configure your ads, find your Mediavine Direct link, and set up the ads.txt file
- Ad Settings – manage ad placements and preferences
- Disable Ad Settings – turn off ads on specific pages if needed
- Opt Out Settings – exclude certain ad categories from appearing on your site.
General settings
- Site Information – edit your business name, address and website details
- Privacy Policy – configure and update your site’s privacy policy
- User Permissions – add additional users and manage their access levels
- Google Analytics 4 – connect your GA4 property to your site for richer analytics integration.
These settings give you granular control over how ads are delivered and how your site is configured within Mediavine.
Tips for using the new dashboard
- Switch sites quickly: use the site drop‑down to jump between sites without logging out
- Check tasks regularly: the task list alerts you to important actions such as updating ads.txt or enabling new features.
- Use the date selector: in Analytics and Payments, the date range selector lets you focus on recent performance or compare longer periods
- Download reports: export gross revenue reports from the Payments tab to reconcile your earnings
- Manage users and policies: update your privacy policy and add team members under Settings
