User Permissions allows you to adjust Site Owner, Site Administrator, and Site Contributor titles the Grow Publisher Portal.
Add a Site Owner, Site Administrator, or Site Contributor
Locate the User Permissions tab in the side rail of your Grow Publisher Portal. Then, select the button to Add New User:
This will then give you the option to select what kind of user to add, and allow you to send them an invite to join Grow:
User Permissions Levels
Site Owners
A Site Owner is a user who owns and works on the site.
- This person can access and interact with all site settings
- They are able to access importer tools in the Grow portal (CSV importer, Automailer importer)
- They can delete extra sites they’ve created
- They can add other users to the site (site administrators and contributors)
- They can transfer/appoint ownership to a new site owner
Site Administrators
A Site Administrator is a user who has the same access and permissions as a Site Owner, with a few key differences.
- Site Administrators cannot use importer tools in the Grow portal (CSV importer, Automailer importer)
- They cannot accept Terms of Service updates
- They cannot delete/remove a site from the Grow portal
- They cannot transfer site ownership to a new owner
Site Contributors
A Site Contributor is a user who works on the site but is NOT an owner. Typically, this is a Virtual Assistant or Developer.
- This person can see and interact with all site settings
- They cannot use importer tools in the portal (CSV importer, Automailer importer)
- Site Contributors cannot invite new users to the site
- They also cannot delete a site from Grow
Once you've sent your invite, your new Site Owner/Site Administrator/Site Contributor will receive an email inviting them to join you on Grow, and an email once they've accepted!
User Permissions Page
Once an additional user is added, they will appear in this list with a specific status. The statuses are:

- Active - The user accepted their invite and can access the Grow portal
- Invited - The user was invited to collaborate on the site via Grow
- Expired - The invited user did not accept the invite
User Permissions and Journey
Grow User Permissions impact which Journey reports and settings users can access.
Site Owners can access
Site Administrators can access
- Journey Analytics reports
- Journey settings, but not payment settings
Site Contributors do not have access to any Journey reports or settings.
