To ensure that you and your readers are seeing the most current version of your site, you’ll want to clear out your site’s cache. Clearing your site cache via your caching plugin should be enough to reflect changes you’ve made, but if you still aren’t seeing things update then try clearing your CDN cache (if you are using one) and your server-level cache.
Caching Plugins
First, you’ll want to clear out any caching plugins that you have installed on your site. Take a look below to learn more about clearing out your cache on some of the most commonly used plugins.
WP Rocket
- In your WordPress Admin bar, look for WP Rocket
- Click Clear and “Preload Cache”.

Litespeed Cache
- In your WordPress Admin bar, look for the Litespeed Cache logo.
- Click on “Purge All”.
WP Fastest Cache
- In your WordPress Admin bar, look for the WP Fastest Cache logo
- Click “Clear All Cache”.
W3 Total Cache
- In your WordPress Admin bar, look for the WP Total Cache logo
- Click “Clear All Cache”.
Other Caching plugins
If you are using a caching plugin that is not listed above then you’ll just want to navigate to the settings and click on the option to clear out the cache.
If you do not have a caching plugin installed, you can move on to clearing out your CDN cache and server-level caching.

Server-level Caching
You’ll want to reach out to your host to clear out your server-level caching.
