During the onboarding process, your Ads.txt file will insert automatically with the ads script.
Inserting the ads.txt file will either set up a redirect or it will write the ads.txt file to your site.
When you click ‘Setup Ads Script’ this should direct you over to either your Wordpress login screen or Wordpress admin dashboard (if you’re already logged in).
Once in the Wordpress dashboard, on the next screen you’ll be able to give Journey permission to install both the ads script and ads.txt file on your site. Go ahead and click ‘Enable.’
When the ads script and ads.txt file installs successfully, you should see a message similar to this screenshot below. At this point, you’ll want to clear your site’s cache. Once you’ve done this, you can go ahead and click the button to return to Journey’s onboarding.
If you get an error message that indicates your Ads.txt file cannot be found, please proceed to this help document: Troubleshooting Your Missing Ads.txt File
