Speed issues, question from my host
Hello! I have been working with my host, LyricalHost, to resolve some speed issues I'm having on my website, https://fairytaletravelguide.com/.
They have requested I reach out to you to see if there is anything further you can do in terms of the scripts loading for the ads. They're seeing a large number of Third party scripts being loaded on the site and recommend reaching out to you and asking if you would be able to optimize the scripts and if possible defer their loading.
I did follow the Journey instructions to add “scriptwrapper” in the exclusions list in Autoptimize, but they provided further instruction that said:
"it is more to do with the scripts that Mediavine are loading on the site, so something they would need to look at on their end. For example, I have sent a screenshot of part of the test of some of the scripts loading after the 2-second mark, and as you can see all the highlighted red boxes are Mediavine scripts.
Looking from my side, it looks as though the local scripts finish loading around the 2-second mark, and the majority of scripts after that point are third-party scripts."
Is this anything that can be adjusted? They also said “The only other optimisation I can think of is that we could try an alternative Lazy Loading plugin. Then test disabling the WordPress Core Lazy Loading to see if that has any further impact on the LCP.” But from what I've read this isn't the best option with the ads?
Thank you for the help!
