Journey Dashboard showing 0 sessions & 0 pageviews
Hi,
For weeks my GA4 was severely under-reported traffic because of an aggressive WordPress caching setup. On December 7 I finally fixed the caching issue (excluded analytics scripts, cleared everything, etc.). GA4 immediately started showing correct numbers – on Dec 7 I had **101 sessions** and decent realtime activity.
However, in my Journey dashboard for Dec 7 the numbers now look like this:
- Earnings: $0.06
- Impressions: 447
- CPM: $0.14
- Sessions: 0
- Pageviews: 0
- RPM: $0.00
So ads are definitely loading and earning money, but Journey is pulling zero sessions/pageviews from GA4, which kills the RPM calculation.
Things I’ve already checked/done:
- GA4 property is correctly linked in Journey settings
- Time zone in Journey is set to Eastern Time
- No VPN or ad-blocker when testing
- Cache is now properly excluded for analytics scripts
- Consent Mode is turned ON in Journey settings (I don’t have any custom consent plugin that forces analytics_storage=denied)
- Tested in incognito + Tag Assistant – GA4 tags are firing perfectly now
Is this a known delay after a big GA4 tracking fix? Or could the sudden jump in correctly-tracked sessions have “confused” the integration? How long should I wait before the sessions start populating in Journey, and is there anything else I can do on my end?
Really want to see accurate RPM again now that my real traffic is finally being counted!
Thank you in advance!
