Sticky footer ad unit covering vital forum modals / buttons / composers

Hello,

The sticky footer is covering vital buttons and functionality.

Is there a way that is agreeable with Journey to disable this unit? Failing that, can we adjust the z-index, or  always enforce a safe space of 100px on desktop and mobile to make sure it doesn't overlap essential functionality of the site?

Covers the categories modal on mobile -it should have 3 options, Latest, Categories and Unread:
