Ad Placement Above Featured Image

On many of my posts, an ad is loading above my first image. I've only seen this happen on mobile but it may also happen on desktop.

I was planning to put the image and the first paragraph (my meta description-style intro) inside a group block to try and keep them together above the ad—but before doing that on every single post, I wanted to check in here first:

Is there any way to adjust ad placement so the first ad doesn’t appear before the first image? Or would putting the intro + image in a group block make any difference?
