Questions Regarding Mediavine Journey Performance & Setup

Hey Mediavine Journey Support,

I have a few questions I’d like to clarify:

  1. My RPM has been extremely low over the past three days. On the first day, it was just $0.05, then jumped to $1.10 on the second day, only to drop slightly to $1.05 on the third. In total, I’ve earned around $1 so far. However, with the same traffic volume, I typically generate $7–$8 through Google Ad Manager. Could you help me understand what might be causing this discrepancy? Am I missing something?
  2. Regarding the ads.txt issue—I’m running Google Ad Manager ads alongside Mediavine Journey. The problem I’m encountering is that after adding my Google Ad Manager publisher ID below Mediavine Journey’s ad publisher entries, I started seeing an error in the Mediavine dashboard. Could you clarify what’s causing this conflict and how to resolve it?
  3. Is there a way to set up manual placements for Mediavine ads so I can position them myself on my site? I’m completely comfortable handling the technical side of things, so I’d love to know if this is an option.
