Issue with Ads Not Displaying on My Website
Dear Journey by Mediavine Support Team,
I am reaching out to inform you about an issue I am facing with the display of ads on my website. My website was accepted into the platform over 20 days ago, and I have correctly added the ad code to all pages of my site. However, the ads are not appearing on any of the pages, and I am also experiencing a mismatch between impressions and page views.
Key Details:
• Page Views: I currently have 18,000 page views.
• Sessions: 10,000 sessions.
• Impressions: Only 28 impressions have been recorded.
• Revenue: No revenue has been generated, as both RPM values are showing as zero.
• CPM: The CPM value is showing as 0.26, which is unusually low given the number of page views.
• Ads: The ads are not appearing on any of the pages, despite the correct addition of the ad code.
• Mismatch Issue: There is a significant mismatch between the number of impressions (28) and the number of page views (18,000). This suggests that the impressions are not aligning with the actual page views.
Steps I Have Taken:
• I have added the ad code to all pages of my website.
• I have verified that there are no errors in the code using debugging tools.
• I have ensured that the content is compliant with the platform's policies.
• I have checked and optimized the site's speed.
Request:
I kindly request you to check the status of my account and confirm that the ad code is functioning correctly. Additionally, I would like to know if there are any technical issues or incorrect settings preventing the ads from displaying. Specifically, I would like assistance in understanding why there is such a significant mismatch between impressions and page views, and why the CPM value is showing as 0.26 despite the high number of page views.
Thank you for your support and assistance.

Hi smail kherifi ! Right now, Journey only places content ads throughout actual post content and not on pages since these ads could break the layout of pages. We also don't currently have an option for manual ad placement on pages, but you'll still have the adhesion banner ad and Universal Video Player able to load on the homepage and pages, which are some of the most performant ad placements.
As for the other data issues, I checked the site and you have two ad script wrappers running. This can definitely impact your data in strange ways, so you'll want to remove one of the ad script instances, clear all caching, and then keep an eye on data to see if things normalize. Hopefully that will do the trick, but let us know if the issue persists over the next few days once you remove the second script.
Thanks!

Hello Rachel Johnson
First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the valuable and detailed assistance you provided. You’ve been incredibly helpful, and I have already implemented the steps you outlined, including removing one of the ad script wrappers and clearing all caching. I will monitor the data over the coming days to see if things normalize.
In the meantime, I would kindly request that you re-check my site to ensure everything is functioning correctly and that no other issues remain. I’m always open to further guidance or feedback if needed.
Thank you once again for your collaboration and support.
Best regards,

Hi smail kherifi ! I'm still seeing two script wrappers when I look at the site's source code.
If you right click on any post then click “View Page Source”, you'll notice if you search for the term scripts.scriptwrapper.com/tags, there are still two instances of the script. You'll just need to remove one of those instances.
Thanks!

Hi Rachel Johnson!
I wanted to let you know that the issue has been resolved. I’ve removed one of the instances of the ad code you mentioned, so now there should only be one instance of
scripts.scriptwrapper.com/tagsin the source code.I hope this fixes the issue. Let me know if you need any further assistance!
Thanks!

Hi smail kherifi ! I'm still seeing two scripts unless I manually bust the cache, so I would clear all caching plugins, your server side cache, and your CDN cache if you use one (like Cloudflare). Once you can check the page source in an incognito window when you're not logged into your site and only see one instance of the script wrapper, then you should be all set.
