Does Journey shows Ads on the Google Web Stories?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using the Journey by Mediavine on my website and recently planned to create Web Stories using the Google Web Stories plugin. I’m exploring ways to monetize these stories but couldn’t find any option within the plugin itself to enable ads.

I’d like to know:

  1. Does the Journey theme support ads on Google Web Stories?
  2. Are there any specific settings or configurations required within Mediavine or the plugin to enable ads for Web Stories?
  3. If anyone has successfully set up ads for Web Stories using Mediavine, could you please share your process?

I appreciate any guidance or resources that can help me get started. Thanks in advance!

    Thanks Rachel. I have a quick question that’s not related to the current issue.

    I’ve noticed a 404 error for mraid.js in my 404 log monitor, and I’m unsure about what might be causing it. Could you kindly clarify what this error means and why it’s occurring? Also, could you guide me on the best steps to resolve it?

    Hi Marcellop. That 404 is likely related to an ad from a particular creative that didn't load in properly. It's not uncommon to see 404s like this and console chatter with programmatic advertising, and it's something that you should be able to safely ignore. Thanks.
