Dealing with 2 sudden and unexpected errors: ad-script missing and privacy policy
Hey all,
After Journey working seamlessly on my site for a few months, I woke up today to two issues on my Dashboard.
1. Suddenly, my privacy policy is not found at the URL despite having been there for months and working fine. It does not seem to be any of the issues listed, and I have gone through troubleshooting methods.
When I try to resave my privacy policy, it says “must match domain,” though it does.
2. Suddenly, my ad-script is missing; grow is connected and working. When I click the “enable” using WordPress, I am taken to WP, where I click enable, then rerouted back to Grow, and the issue is unresolved. Is this happening because of the privacy policy?
Did anyone else wake up to these strange issues? I am unsure how to resolve them, as everything worked fine until this morning, and the troubleshooting did not fix the problems.

Hi Susanna Shankar. It looks like the scriptwrapper is being optimized by SG Optimizer, and this is likely causing the issue with the privacy policy as well. You can refer to this thread (and the linked thread) for some more details on resolving this. Thanks

Hey, thanks; it looks like it was the plugin. I appreciate you letting me know. I've been on the line with Site Ground throughout the day. They cannot help, as they said this is beyond their scope as a hosting provider and is more something for a developer to handle than I can hire for an additional cost. I left them feedback and also for Journey to find alternatives to this script being hardcoded. This seems to be a very unique issue with Journey and SG—as I never had this issue with other ad providers/plugins.
Hopefully, a solution will come in the future. I left a more detailed response on the thread provided in your comment to ad to the discussion.
