Consent banner in wrong language
CompletedHi,
I have had a cookie consent banner on my website for months (using Complianz). Now that I have finished implementing Journey on my website, a new data & cookie consent pops up in addition to my Complianz one.
I know that yours is geo-targeted so it would only show when required, someone outside of the EU wouldn't even see Journey's banner.
However, most of my traffic comes from France, and Journey's banner sometimes shows up in English (I've checked on phones, computers, with and without a VPN, and with and without the incognito mode).
I haven't been able to pinpoint why it doesn't systematically show up in French. Is there a way for me to ensure it always shows up in French if the reader is in France?
Also can I then remove the Complianz one? Is Journey's banner enough to comply with the GDPR law?

Hi Amélie ! The consent pop up language should be based on the user’s browser settings as opposed to location.
As for removing Complianz, the Journey Consent Management Platform (CMP) covers your site 100% for the display advertising portion of GDPR. If you need to collect consents beyond display advertising though, then you might need another consent pop up, but we're unable to advise on this since it's a legal area that's out of our scope.
Thank you!
