Redirecting to spam
Every once in a while, my website gets redirected to a spammy webpage (like an xfinity page saying “you've won!!!” - and I'm confident it's because of malicious code in my Journey script from an advertiser that wasn't filtered out.
I do not have the grow/journey plugin because of compatability issues. So everything is installed via script.
Any advice for how to address this issue? Do I need to uninstall/reinstall journey? Update ad.txt? Not sure what to do here.

Hi Megan H. ! Journey ads are loaded using what's called “safe frames”, which means that if in the rare case an ad was trying to cause a redirect, it wouldn't be able to "escape" the frame that it's displaying in and affect the user's browser.
I also clicked around your site and wasn't able to replicate this behavior, and there shouldn't be any difference between using the plugin vs the manual scripts since the plugins add the exact same scripts to the site.
In the past when publishers on Journey or Mediavine have run into issues like this, we've always recommended reaching out to their host to take a thorough look at any suspicious traffic behavior on the site and run a malware scan.
Hope this helps!
