Hi Thomas Barlow ! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It looks like the script needed to re-crawl the site, but ad placements should be loading in correctly now.

Thanks for your response, is there a way to get an add to appear here?
In my old ad network I created a custom div and placed it here. Is this possible? and what class name should I give it?

Hi Thomas Barlow ! Journey doesn't currently offer custom ad placements. This would also be considered a leaderboard ad (ad in the header), and we don't use these ad placements specifically because we've found through extensive testing on Mediavine sites that they bring down ad viewability, which will negatively impact overall ad performance.

    Thanks!

Hi, do you know how I can get the script to recrawl the site manually?

Thomas Barlow There's not a way to do this. If you keep the markup of your site the same though, the targeting will remain the same. Re-crawling also only considers ad targeting - not ad density or any other settings.

    Thanks!

I added class names to my search results page in hopes to include ads there. I do have disallow: /search in my robots.txt, would this affect journeys crawling?

Thomas Barlow Journey will try to only place content ads on actual posts with long form content, so it would be normal for the script not to serve ads aside from the adhesion and universal video player on a search page. Having the disallow in your robots.txt file shouldn't make a difference. You can read more about this here. Thanks!

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
