What is the best option for USD payments to a bank account located in Canada?
I have a USD chequing account at a Canadian bank and I am wondering which payment option I should choose?
From what I have read, if I select ACH - International, it will change the currency to CAD but I would prefer it stays in USD.
If I can't do that, the only other options to keep it in USD are:
- paypal (which will charge me 4.39% fee on payment)
- Wire Transfer Non US / USD $26 per transaction
According to the Journey Payment chart

there's also a paper cheque option from Tipalti which doesn't appear in the drop down payment menu options, but would be my preferred method.

So… is it possible to have an ACH - International with USD as the currency or can I simply request a paper cheque as the chart offers and if so, where would I find that?
If neither of those are an option, I suppose defaulting to the wire transfer once the transaction fee for that is less than the percentage fee from paypal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
