Inquiry Regarding In-Content Ads on New Tool Page
CompletedHi Journey Support Team,
I hope you're doing well! I recently created a new page on my website that features a software tool. To ensure it aligns with Mediavine's guidelines, I’ve made the page scrollable, added long-form content, and included blog posts right after the tool section.
Currently, I can see video ads and sticky ads at the bottom of the page, but I was wondering if in-content ads will also appear on this page? The tool is located under the "Software Tools" section of my website.
I’d appreciate any guidance or clarification on how in-content ads would work in this scenario.
Thanks so much for your help!
Best regards,
Christian

Hi Christian ! It looks like these pages use a page template instead of a post template, and Journey typically will only place content ads on post templates.
These pages also use very specific classes for the content areas, and typically you'd want all of your templates to use the same class for the content area such as .entry-content to ensure consistent ad targeting. If you were able to change these pages to single post templates with a consistent HTML structure and consistent class for the content of the post like .entry-content that contains all of the post content directly underneath it, that should allow for ads to load.
Thanks!

Hi Rachel,
Thank you for the clarification! I’ll go ahead and implement the changes as you suggested and ensure the pages use a post template with the .entry-content class for consistency. I’ll update you through a comment on this post once the changes are in place.
Thanks again for your help!

Hi,
I wanted to update you that we have successfully implemented the changes discussed. We moved the software tools page into a normal post template and included the necessary HTML within a
.entry-contentclass to ensure the ads functioned as intended. The in-content ads are now appearing properly, and everything seems to be working as usual.Thank you for your guidance, and please let me know if there's anything else we should keep in mind moving forward.
Best regards,
