Journey Integration Issue with Both Ads Script & Ads.txt, pls help
CompletedHad issues integrating Journey's Ads Script & ads.txt to my website with the Grow Plugin method, pls help.
My site: wordpress
Grow for WP installed: yes.
Documentation I was following:
During the integration process, specifically the Ads Script step:
It says if you are a WP site, just click the Enable Ads Script button, it's supposed to redirect you to your website's Grow for WP page where you can do the integration simply by clicking the Enable Button.
In my case:
When I click the Enable Ads Script button, it resulted in a 404 page.
I tried it multiple times, all ended up with 404s.
As a result:
I manually added both the Ads script and the ads.txt since they both require the Grow for WP integration.
Since ads.txt is manually uploaded, I got an “outdated” notice last Thursday, and I had to manually uploading it again to fix the issue.
Please advise on what I need to do to use the Grow for WP for integration.

Hi there! We can't say exactly what's causing this -- it could be a firewall or security setting or it could be caused by something like a custom login URL for WordPress.
I would try all of the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the official comment here (including logging out of the plugin and trying to log back in). If none of those steps do the trick though, the manual installation is the best option moving forward.

Hi Patt, Rachel, I have the same issue. When they were outdated, I manually uploaded the new ads.txt again. I had already done all the trouble shooting during onboarding and nothing helped. Though I don't get a 404 page, it leads me to my WP dashboard but then nothing happens. So I had done both manually. Is there a way to get the automatic plugin working? Thanks.

Hi Christel Dowuona Owoo ! If you already went through all of the troubleshooting steps from the official comment here, you could also have your host check if they're running any firewalls or security settings. Those steps work for the majority of publishers, but if you're still running into issues after trying all of the options from the official comment and your host isn't running any firewalls or security settings, then the manual installation would still be the best option here.
Thank you!
