My Host is asking me to confirm with Journey the IP Adress
AnsweredHello
I'm experiencing issues with my Grow connection in WordPress—it keeps disconnecting, and I receive this message:

I would like to remain logged in consistently so that I don't have to reconnect it manually every 30 minutes on WordPress.
Additionally, I've noticed discrepancies in my Journey dashboard regarding sessions and pageviews—they're significantly lower than what Google Analytics G4 reports. Could this be why I only earned $1 yesterday with Journey, or is there another issue causing this?
I would like to consistently stay logged in so i don't have to reconnect it manually on wordpress every 30 minutes.
Then I checked with my host if they have some security firewalls or Security plugins that can at times block Grow from being able to parse or scrape my website’s metadata.
And now they are asking me if you can please confirm the IP range your bot will be connecting from ?
Could you please confirm the IP to communicate to my host ?
Many Thanks,

Hi there! Typically the host just needs to whitelist the MediavineMetadataParser/* user agent. I would have them try that and let us know if that does the trick.
There's a wide range of reasons you could be getting logged out of Grow, including browser settings, certain plugins, security settings, and if you're logging in and out of your WordPress dashboard. The good news is you only need to log in if you need to make adjustments to your Grow dashboard, and being disconnected won't hurt anything in terms of your ads or Grow functionality.
As for analytics, Grow Analytics are just different, similar to many other third-party analytics trackers, a bit of variance is expected. It's important to note that GA4 is just an estimate, not the exact measurement or the absolute truth, and you can read more about Grow Analytics here.

Thank you for the clear explanation, I understand it better now.
I asked My host to whitelist the mediavine metadata parser and they responded this : "In that case, so that we can isolate the specific rules their bot might need to be whitelisted past, are Mediavine able to confirm the specific HTTP status codes their bot encounters when it tries to access your site?"
Could you please help with this ? HTTP status codes
Many thanks

Hi Thierno. Looks like there are two threads on the same issue going right now, so I'm going to close this one and respond in the other.
