Can't connect with plugin/ conflicting ad code
CompletedHello!
I received my acceptance email this morning (yay!), and I'm trying to get the script installed.
I installed the Wordpress plugin and logged in. It says it's connected, but when I click the link to install the script, it just keeps taking me back to the Wordpress login page. When I log in, it just takes me to my Wordpress dashboard.
I've tried installing the script manually using the HFCM plugin, but now I'm getting an error saying there is conflicting ad code on my site.
I was previously with Ezoic.
I've contacted Bigscoots and had them point my DNS records back to Bigscoots. I've turned off all ads through my Ezoic dashboard, and have removed the Ezoic plugin from Wordpress.
I've cleared my browser cache, and had Bigscoots clear my cache on their end.
Is there anything I'm missing?
Thanks,
Alissa

Hi Alissa! It looks like you've still got Ads.txt Manager enabled on the site, and it's still adding the old ads.txt which is referencing Ezoic. So if you're able to get Ads.txt manager deactivated on the site and clear all the caching, hopefully you'll be able to proceed with onboarding then! Thanks!

Is that a plugin? If so, I don't have that installed.
Since I just had my DNS records pointed back to Bigscoots, could it be because it takes a little while for DNS records to propagate?

Hi Alissa! Often this is done through the Ezoic plugin in your WP Admin. You'd just disable the ads.txt from being placed there. Sometimes, though, depending on your setup you may need to go to Ezoic's ads.txt manager site to get the ads.txt placement disabled. If you run into additional issues, Ezoic should be able to point you in the right direction in getting it disabled. Thanks!!

Got it, it was in Ezoic's ads.txt manager. I've disabled it, and Bigscoots got me all fixed up, so I'm up and running now. Thanks so much!
