If I want to go back to Adsense after running Journey for some months, do I need to apply to Adsense again to get my site approved?

    Hi AB,

We're not able to give advice on your specific site's current setup with the Adsense scripts, but you are absolutely correct that you'll want to remove the existing Adsense code that's being added to the site. Since it looks like the Headers/Footers plugin is adding it in the screenshot, then disabling it there should do the trick.

For the ads.txt, our plugin should be able to handle the ads.txt automatically, without you removing the existing ads.txt. So you should just be able to follow the onboarding prompts to get that all setup.

For the Adsense authorization, you would want to reach out to them with questions about potentially moving back down the road. Thanks!!

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
