Journey Disabled All Redirects
AnsweredHello, my site (greenerideal.com) uses the plugin Redirection and since enabling Journey all of my redirects stopped working. Disabling Grow resolved the issue.
I know that there is mention about 404 to 301 plugins in the conflicts and compatibilities documentation but this plugin does not “redirects any and all 404 errors”, so it should not be causing this issue.
Can anyone recommend a solution to keep Journey active while using this redirect plugin?

Hi Ian! We've not encountered this sort of behavior with any other Journey sites. The Journey script will redirect your ads.txt page to our servers but shouldn't affect other redirects on the site. I'm currently not seeing the Journey or Grow scripts running on the site, and there looks to be some caching to be cleared on the site as well.
It's possible that the caches just needed to be cleared after setting things up with the plugin. So if you'd like to reenable the plugin and try clearing out all of the caching, hopefully that will resolve the issue. Thanks!!

Hi John, thanks for your reply.
I have reactivated Grow and emptied the site cache and the issue still persists. I have to deactivate Grow until this is fixed as it is breaking all of the redirects on my site. Can you please provide any suggestion for resolving this?
Thanks,
Ian

Hi Ian,
Thanks for getting back to us. It's difficult to say on what could be causing the issue here, because this isn't a normal behavior for Grow or journey and isn't something we've encountered elsewhere. It's possible there's something particular to your redirection setup at play here, but that's just speculation.
Something that could potentially work if you're running into issues with the Grow plugin would be to just keep it deactivated and to go ahead and add the Journey and Grow scripts to the site manually. You can find both of them in the settings in your Grow Publisher Portal, and once they're added, they should provide all the functionality from the plugin.
The one additional step here is that you would need to also add the ads.txt (hosting should be able to help with this)file to the site if you go this route, since the plugin wouldn't be adding it.
