Hi Chantal! It's fine to see your own ads - you just wouldn't want to click on them. Thanks!

Thanks, Chantal! It's normal for ads to load when logged in, but shouldn't cause any issues on the site.

Thanks. However, I installed it manually because the plugin wouldn't work. I tried everything.  I read all of the troubleshooting articles. When I enable the script using the plugin, it says “Journey Successfully Enabled” but then returns an error on the next step. Any tips?

Often when the plugin has issues, it's due to a firewall or security setting that's preventing the connection. You could check with your host to see if they have any firewalls or security settings running, and you could also try disabling any security plugins or security settings in your CDN if you use one to see if that does the trick. That said, ads loading when logged in won't cause any issues at all with ads or how bidders perceive your site.

I'm having the same issue, I can't use the Grow plugin because it wasn't allowing me to edit posts on my site. But the Journey ads are showing up when I am logged into admin on WordPress and the bottom ad actually blocks me from being able to hit save/publish. Looking for a workaround since I had to add the script manually.

This is happening for me too! I've started to edit my posts in Incognito mode, but even then ads pop up after a while. And it covers my “update page" ability so I can't save my post edits. I can't use the Grow plugin because it's not compatible with my Elementor plugin and I need to be able to use that. Would love some support for this.

Hi Megan H. ! A potential workaround could be installing an ad blocker extension and only using it when you're editing posts. That would prevent the ads from loading and allow you to save.

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
