    Hi Manpreet,

The url that you linked should bring up a display for disabling Journey along with a “Disable” button that you click to remove the script, ads.txt, and privacy policy. Were you able to see this display, click the button, and clear the cache? This should remove the script and Journey ads from the site. If you're still running into issues after doing this, just let us know. Thanks!!

    Hi Manpreet,

The UI from that link will be the same when it's entered even if the script has already been disabled, so that's normal behavior. Typically, though, clicking on the “Disable” button would remove the script from the site. It's possible there's something particular to your site or with your host that's keeping the script from being removed. Another option would be to just go ahead and deactivate the Grow for Wordpress plugin. This should remove the script, and you can just grab the script for Grow from your Grow Publisher Portal and add it to the site to get Grow running on the site without ads showing.

Hi there. Piggybacking on this thread. I need to disable my Journey ads completely for a time (2 weeks) in order to test some analytics on my site. I installed the ad script via the Grow plug-in, but I'm not seeing any button on my dash to “disable”. Can you assist?

Hi Heather - you can disable Journey by going to the following URL while logged into WordPress:

    https://yoursitename.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=grow-journey-disable

Just replace yoursitename with your domain and you'll see a setting to disable Journey.

Vanessa Alvarez You would just need to remove the Journey ad script from wherever you added it on your site. If you need help finding it, we recommend reaching out to your host or a developer for assistance since they'll have easier access to your site.

If you intend to deactivate ads indefinitely, we do require 30 days notice, which you can read more about here.

    Thanks!

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
