    Hi Malik,

It looks like Adsense ads are currently running on the site, and our script/privacy policy isn't in place. Journey ads are dynamically placed by our script in posts on the site - only the Universal Player and adhesion ad will display on the homepage.

If you get the script back on the site with the Adsense ads removed and have any additional questions, just let us know. Thanks!!

Hi Katusabe ! The Journey script will only place ads on posts and we don't have an option for manual or custom placement at this point in time. We appreciate the feedback though and will pass it along!

Hi Ankit Kumar ! We don't have an option for content/sidebar ad placements on the homepage right now since typically having these ad placements on the homepage can bring down overall ad viewability and therefore ad performance, and usually homepages are also short-form content that won't monetize well. The video player and adhesion will run on the homepage, though, and we will pass on this feedback. Thanks!

"Journey has now introduced Ads Density to increase the number of ad units on the website. As my homepage contains long-form content, this presents an opportunity to display more ads. Your immediate response to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you."

The ad density settings only apply to in content ads on posts currently, but we've noted your feedback here. You can read more about these settings in our ad density help article. Thanks!

Hey folks, bumping this up again. Not sure how many times you passed this feedback to your team but my website is facing a similar issue. I've recently got approved and made a switch from AdSense.

My website is what you would call a “tool” / a web application helping users with a specific problem like the OP's website here.

I can understand that there is a ramp-up period for RPMs, but it is really not ideal for me to sacrifice a lot of empty space on the landing page when the 99% of my traffic interacts with this page here. Banner & video ads on the corner definitely help, but I figure the ad impressions will be much lower in comparison to Google AdSense if you won't offer more placements on the homepage / or any other static pages.

I know that Journey is more targeted towards websites with high-density of written content but then what would be the point of my approval? Should I just go ahead and try my luck with Mediavine? Open to suggestions.

If there is a workaround to make in-content ads appear on my homepage/static pages, I can also try that.

P.S. I also have this privacy policy injected via the code appearing “below” my footer which doesn't follow the css styles of my page. How can I fix this?

Baris The privacy policy should be in the correct place now! Currently we don't have a way to place content ads on these pages and there isn't an option for custom placements. We do appreciate the feedback though and have escalated it, but we can't guarantee this will be an option in the future or have any sort of ETA.

    Thanks!

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
