Which video player to use for content videos to monetize? Does Journey support videos on blog posts?

Hi, I also create videos for my recipes. Are there any specific requirements by Journey to monetize my videos? Which video player should I use?

    Hi Jigna - thanks for reaching out! On Journey you're running the Universal Video Player (UVP), which monetizes great and plays a roll of ads in the bottom corner of the site. Journey doesn't have a video player for user created content though or a way to monetize those videos. Hope this helps!

    Hi,

    Where can we see in the Grow dashboard/Journey dashboard that the Universal Video Player is running? I do not see any reference to the universal video player in the settings.

    Mireille Aikman The Universal Video Player runs on all sites by default, so there isn't a specific setting for it. It's good to note that it will only load if it's bid on by ad partners, so it won't always load for you as the site owner since you run out of premium ad impressions faster than a typical user. 

    I checked your site though and I see it loading in great, so you shouldn't have anything to worry about here. You can also verify the location of this ad placement by adding ?test=outstream to the end of a URL and refreshing the page (i.e. yoursitename.com?test=outstream). As long as you see the placeholder video ad when you refresh, you can assume the Universal Video Player is working as intended.
