Mediavine privacy footer, current ad network conflict, and invitation expiration?
CompletedI was just accepted to Journey yesterday (yay!) and I was going through the onboarding process. However, I currently have an ad network, which ends in 30 days.
I didn't realize that when I clicked through with Journey that it would automatically add the code and start trying to place ads. I don't want to violate the terms on either end, Mediavine or my current network. What can I do now? There are no Journey ads appearing on my site, BUT there is a huge long footer of MV privacy policy at the bottom of every single one of my posts. Is that supposed to happen? On every single individual post?
I really need some guidance on what to do next to stick to the terms, as well as remove whatever I need to at this point until I can officially join. Does the invitation expire at any time?
Thanks for any help!

Hi Sara!
Thanks for reaching out! The privacy policy was just being placed, because the onboarding was paused part way through before you had a chance to input a URL for it. I went ahead and made an adjustment that should take care of this for you.
We do not have an expiration on the invitation, so you should absolutely be able to finish your term with your current provider and then finish onboarding with Journey. In the meantime, what you can do is paste the following URL into your browser:
{{Site URL}}/wp-admin/admin.php?page=grow-journey-disable. You would just want to add the actual site URL instead of the placeholder in curly brackets. From there, you should be able to disable the Journey script until you've finished the term with your current provider. Once it's up, you can proceed with the onboarding steps!0 -
Thank you, John! This worked! I appreciate your help. I'll finish the onboarding as soon as my current contract is finished.
