Please Check my ad script and why does my grow account keep disconnecting from Wordpress?
AnsweredHi. Are you able to check my ad script on your end. I have done all the things that have been listed to make sure the ad script isn't blocked on my end and have purged all the cache that has been recommended. Is there something else I am not doing? As I installed everything yesterday and I am still seeing no ads. Thank you in advance.

Hi Rezel! I just took a look at the site, and I'm seeing the ad script. It looks, though, like it's being optimized by Perfmatters, and this is keeping ads from showing up. What you can do is go into the Perfmatters settings and exclude the script wrapper from being delayed or deferred (or otherwise optimized). This is the wrapper for reference:
<script async="async" data-noptimize="1" data-cfasync="false" src="https://scripts.scriptwrapper.com/tags/a9946fb4-9cf8-4a97-9729-47e25e2d13b8.js" id="mv-script-wrapper-js"></script>Once it's been excluded, you can clear all the caching, and ads should start displaying. If we can answer any additional questions, just let us know.

Hi John and team! thanks for the help. It seemed to work kinda. I see ads on mobile, but not on desktop.
Also on mobile my images have all disapeared. I use shortpixel AI. Would you know what would be causing that issue? Thanks in advance.

I think the script needs to be removed from my site. Nothing is working. I can't click on any links to get anywhere.

Hi John I had to temporarily disable grow until you get back to me as it seemed like the only way to not have the ad script run. Looking forward to your thoughts.

Hi Rezel! Thanks for getting back to us. I just had a look at the site and tried running your ad script locally on my end. I didn't see any issues with images or functionality with the site with the script running properly (not optimized).
It's possible that you're running into some issues with caching after getting the script excluded. There could potentially be a plugin conflict as well, but it would make sense to eliminate caching as a potential cause first.
If you're able to reenable the plugin so that the script wrapper is being placed and can confirm that it's properly excluded from Perfmatters, please clear out all the caching on the site (site, server, etc…) and try opening the site while not logged in an incognito window.
If you're still running into issues, please let us know - we would be glad to take a look. Thanks!!

Hi John . Thanks for checking. I think there is def a conflict with Shortpixel AI. It was either my images were a black block or not displaying at all and you couldn't click on a recipe at all. My site was not functioning except for the ads being displayed.
I think if the support was more instant I would try again, but for now I think I will leave it ad free. Do you know if in the future if the support would be easier to reach then on a message board a few days later? Thanks, Rezel

Hi Rezel. Thanks so much for getting back to us. Journey is intended to be primarily a self service product, but we're definitely here to help as we get things up and running. We'll absolutely get back to you as soon as we can, but sometimes it can take a little bit longer if it's outside of normal business hours or a weekend or holiday.
If you would like to get the script added to the site again, we would be glad to take another look to see if we can spot the issue with the plugin. Otherwise, if we can answer any other questions, please just let us know. Thanks!!!

Hi John How do I absolutely remove the ad script from my site? As I just enabled grow again and some how the ads have started working. However since I added the ad script to my site my traffic has gone down and still down since May 18 and I want to remove it to see if there is something google doesn't like to try and get it up back to base line traffic. Thanks

Hi Rezel! While logged into the site, you should be able to paste the following URL into your browser to disable the script:
{{Site URL}}/wp-admin/admin.php?page=grow-journey-disable. If we can answer any additional questions, just let us know.0
